Contract & Grants Officer


Key Tasks

Responsible for the development of policies and procedures for technical assistance contracts and grants, and assist in their implementation.  

Contract and Grants Officer will:
  • Identify all legal and administration requirements for TSF
  • Develop policies and procedures for the TSF to make grants and enter contracts which facilitate professional and efficient compliance with client requirements.
  • Prepare pro forma grant and contract documents.
  • Develop an orientation package for TSF staff, clients and contractors on TSF policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Consultancy Manager (GF) in implementation tasks as required.
  • Monitor the implementation of grants and contracts, identify any policies and/or procedures impacting negatively on efficient administration and propose appropriate revisions.

Necessary skills and attributes

  • At least 2 years mid-level experience implementing contractual arrangements in organisations that make extensive use of consultants.
  • Experience in administration of grants to external organisations.
  • Law degree.
  • Excellent oral and written skill in English and Bahasa Melayu. 
  • Initiative, precision and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. 
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail.
