Joana Nerquaye-Tetteh, B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD (Reproductive Physiology)

Dr. Joana Nerquaye-Tetteh, was a former Executive Director of the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) at the time of the Global Gag Rule.

Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) is an IPPF affiliate.

Dr. Nerquaye-Tetteh has a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Zoology from the University of Ghana, Legon. She is a Doctor of Philosophy in Reproductive Physiology, from the University of Oxford, England in 1986.

She was a Senior Lecturer in Physiology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where she lectured for 23 years until 1995.
