Thanks to abortion foe Sarah Palin, Planned Parenthood is $763,350 richer.
That's how much money a viral e-mail campaign, which urges foes of the Republican veep candidate to make a donation in Palin's name, has raised.
"The response to this viral e-mail has been phenomenal," said Cecile Richards, president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
Nearly 30,000 people from all 50 states donated in Palin's name, and two-thirds of those were first-time contributors, Richards said.
It's still not clear who launched the campaign against Palin, an Alaska governor with five kids - including an unmarried pregnant teenage daughter.
The e-mail lists Palin's address as Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign headquarters in Arlington, Va., and asks for a token $10 contribution.
"And here's the good part," the e-mail states. "When you make a donation to Planned Parenthood in her name, they'll send her a card telling her that the donation has been made in her honor."
