Many girls are forced to give up their education when they are pregnant, which limits their social, economic and political opportunities and reinforces gender inequity.

IPPF believes that all girls and young women have the right to access youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services, including antenatal care if they choose to continue a pregnancy.

IPPF also believes that all young women have the right to education, including pregnant girls and young mothers.
