Programme Guidance on Counselling for STI/HIV Prevention
For counsellors, health workers and all those working in STI/HIV/AIDS
This guide is designed to help workers, within our Member Associations and beyond, to improve their professional skills, in integrating Sexually Transmitted Infections/HIV prevention and counselling in their work in a systematic way.
It addresses newcomers as well as the more experienced counsellors and contains useful information for a broad range of people involved with counselling in family planning and sexual and reproductive health.
This guide aims to provide information, ideas and suggestions for those who work with clients (young people, male and female clients, individuals and couples) and who want to improve their knowledge and skills in counselling in STI/HIV prevention, safer sex, pre and post HIV antibody testing and other issues related to the subject.
