  • 8 and half out of 10 of IPPF's clients were poor, marginalized, socially-excluded/under-served
  • We provided 7·6 million couple years of protection. (Couple years of protection are a measure representing the total number of years of contraceptive protection provided by a method, for one couple, for one year).
  • Over 15 million sexual and reproductive health services were provided to
    young people.
  • Our Member Associations provided over 650,000 abortion-related services,
    of which a third were provided to women under 25.
  • Nearly 3·3 million HIV-related services were provided by Member Associations, of which a third were provided to young people.
  • 82% of our Member Associations fought opposition to sexual and reproductive health and rights, including misinformation, cuts in funding, and new or existing policy or legislation that is harmful to sexual and
    reproductive health.
