Project Resource Mobilization Awareness (RMA) is a partnership initiative in collaboration with Population Action International and the German Foundation for World Population to get contraceptives to those who need them.
Our Member Associations involved in Project RMA are:
- FPAB - Bangladesh
- PPAG - Ghana
- Mexfam - Mexico
- Profamilia Nicaragua
- UMATI - Tanzania
Recently they gave presentations about their achievements to date, which include:
- Ghana: successfully advocated for contraceptive devices to be included in revised draft Essential Medicines List
- Mexico: state level network-building advocacy capacity, watchdog for contraceptive
security
- Tanzania: advocated to Ministry of Finance to release 2008-09 family planning budget line of 3.5 billion shillings
This was the first time our Member Associations were represented at the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition.
