The project is implemented in partenrship between our Philippines and Hong Kong Member Associations.
It aims to defend the rights of Filipino women who work as domestic helpers in Hong Kong, and to provide them with sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information and services.
Activities are taking place both in the Philippines prior to the domestic workers' departure for Hong Kong and with their families remaining in the country, as well as in Hong Kong to provide support, (including legal support), information and services about SRH and rights.
The project also plans to establish a national advocacy network and mechanisms in both the Philippines and Hong Kong, for the provision of continuing and sustainable support for the SRH and and rights of overseas domestic workers.
