Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is the United States of America's leading women’s health care provider, educator, and advocate, serving women, men, teens, and families.

For more than 90 years, we’ve done more than any other organization in the United States to:

PPFA affiliates regularly plan new or expanded services and undertake special programmes to reach under-served groups. 

Each year, the family planning services provided by Planned Parenthood affiliates help prevent an estimated half-million unintended pregnancies.

PPFA affiliates offer a wide range of education and training programmes on sexuality and reproductive health.

The range of programme content and audiences reflects the diversity of America's communities. 

Affiliate programmes are reaching students at earlier ages, a trend supported by current research, which indicates that sexuality education programmes have a stronger impact on health promotion and reducing risks when they are introduced earlier.
