Naomi Seboni is the President of IPPF’s Governing Council as well as being an associate professor in nursing and midwifery at the University of Botswana and co-ordinator of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Development.
She has been involved with IPPF’s Member Association, the Botswana Family Welfare Association (BOFWA), since 1994. In the past she has been BOFWA’s national president as well as a member of its National Executive Committee and member and chair of its programmes committee.
Naomi has a special interest in adolescents’ health and development, adolescents’ sexuality and sexual risk-taking behaviours. She also focuses on the experiences of adolescents living with HIV and AIDS, and the experiences of orphans and other vulnerable children.
