Expanding Access

Social franchising

Through social franchising, Member Associations increase the number of service delivery points and the range of services, help to meet the sexual and reproductive health needs of poor and vulnerable populations at an equal or lower cost than other channels.

Community based outreach and delivery

Community-based programmes are designed to improve access by bringing services to hard-to-reach communities. Community health distributors provide health education, distribute contraceptives and refer clients for clinic-based services.

For decades, community-based distribution programmes have helped us expand access to health services to those who need them most.
