Sky News drops term “heartbeat bill” after healthcare coalition call
The broadcaster says it will stop using the term “heartbeat bill” to describe attempts in the US to introduce six-week abortion bans, after conceding the phrase is biased. IPPF hopes this will prompt BBC News, who have not ruled out using the phrase, to reconsider its position.

When Hervé realized he had an STI, there was only one person he could turn to – peer educator Chariette. On her recommendation, he visited the Cameroon National Association for Family Welfare (CAMNAFAW). The care he received from the clinic inspired him to become a peer educator.
