End of project review: Global Comprehensive Abortion Care Initiative

Closing date

Since 2007, IPPF’s Global Comprehensive Abortion Care Initiative (GCACI) has supported access to abortion and contraceptive care in 22 countries. Now in its final year of implementation, it is important to take stock and reflect on the key successes, drivers of change and key learnings from 15 years of GCACI programme implementation.

We are looking for a consultant to conduct an end-of-project review with the following three objectives:

  1. To document the impact of GCACI and successes experienced in 22 countries over 15 years
  2. To understand what the main drivers for improvements to access to safe abortion and contraceptive services were in 22 GCACI MAs from 2007-2021 and to reflect on what went well with the GCACI programme and what could have been done differently
  3. To draw together existing resources, case studies, videos, and images from the GCACI programme 2007-2021

Further details can be found in the attached Terms of Reference.

Interested consultants are advised to complete section 7 of the ToR and send the relevant documents listed in the ToR to Fuchsia Watson, Programme Adviser: [email protected] by 6 December 2021.
