The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a worldwide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals. In the Pacific, we work across 9 countries.
We are seeking qualified, experienced, motivated and passionate candidates (3 positions) to join our Pacific Team, based in Suva, Fiji (Sub-Regional Office for the Pacific – SROP). Competitive salary and benefits offered.
1. Senior Programme Officer (SPO) – Pacific
The purpose of this position is to provide technical oversight and ensure implementation of IPPF’s Niu Vaka Pacific Strategy, including IPPF’s restricted Projects in the Pacific. The position will lead the development of our Integrated Annual Workplans for SROP and the Member Associations (MA), including review of targets and indicators; ensure timely donor and internal reports; strengthen systematic delivery of SRHR services to the target population; and provide technical support and capacity building to the Pacific MAs as required.
You will have graduate qualifications in international development, public health or a related field with at least experience working in project management in development or health related agency. You have experience managing large, multi-year and multi-country projects with numerous stakeholders. You are supportive of SRHR and a women’s right to choose.
2. Project Officer, Capacity Development
The purpose of this position is to provide the required project management and capacity building support for the implementation of IPPF’s Niu Vaka Pacific Strategy, including IPPF’s organisational requirements under its core funding.
You will have a degree in Social sciences or Management or related field and at least 3 years’ experience in the Pacific development sector.
3. Social Behaviour Change and Communications (SBCC) Officer
The purpose of this role is to provide technical expertise to MAs and partners to develop messaging and deliver communications campaigns to raise awareness of accurate SRHR information and drive health seeking behaviours in the Pacific context, especially for hard to reach populations.
You will have graduate qualification in journalism, communications, international development, public health or other relevant field; advanced experience in digital marketing and communications, including social media marketing; and significant Pacific regional experience.
