Donya Nasser* (Trustee member of the committee)

An MA volunteer, Donya Nasser has been Senior Manager, Public Engagement and Policy at the Center for the Developing Adolescent since 2019. She has been a Global Trustee on the Governing Council for IPPF since 2017; a Board Director for IPPF Western Hemisphere Region since 2017; and a Board Director for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Action Fund (PPAF) since 2015.

She has also been the Director of Strategic Partnerships on the Youth Working Group of the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO since 2017 and a Member of the Youth Power Panel at Restless Development in Washington DC since 2019. Amongst the skills required for the Board of Trustees, Donya can point to knowledge of SRHR leadership; experience of advocacy and working with government; and fundraising and resource mobilization. She is from North America, currently located in the USA. She also has lived in the UK for a year and Iran for just under a year. Donya is a young adult under the age of 30.

Ulukbek Batyrgaliev (Trustee member of the committee)

An MA volunteer, Ulukbek Batyrgaliev has been National Trainer since 2015, and Chair of National Youth Committee at the Reproductive Health Alliance of Kyrgyzstan since 2016. Currently, he is a student in the Psychology Department of the American University of Central Asia, where he is also Coordinator of the AUCA Debate Club. Since 2019, he has been a Y SAFE Steering Committee Member and a Youth Focal Point of Kyrgyz Republic at the global platform for Family Planning 2020. Amongst the skills required for the Board of Trustees, Ulukbek can point to knowledge of youth networking and youth action; leadership in SRHR; and peer-to-peer service delivery. He is from Central Asia, currently located in Kyrgyzstan. Ulukbek is under 25 years old at this time.

Amadou Bah

An MA volunteer, Amadou Bah is Head of the Partnership Section in the Guinean Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. He began his career in youth outreach and held roles such as Head of the SRH, STI & HIV/AIDS Department at the African ONG Networks and Population and Development Associations. He is also Chair of the Association Nigérienne pour le Bien-Etre Familial (ANBEF) and Member of the Regional Council of the IPPF Africa Region. Amongst the skills required for the Membership Committee (MC), he brings knowledge of federated structures, partnership development and organisational development; and knowledge of the work done by IPPF Member Associations in delivering and enabling services, youth engagement and advocacy. Amadou is from West Africa, currently located in Guinea. 

Jossy Délicia Dukere

An MA volunteer, Jossy Délicia Dukere is currently a student at the Université Lumière of Bujumbura in the third year of a BSc in the Faculty of Clinical Psychology. She is also member of the Burundian Association for Family Welfare (ABUBEF), the ABUBEF national youth representative and youth representative of the IPPF Africa Region in the Eastern sub-region; and a member of the Burundi Scouts Association. Amongst the skills required for the MC, she brings knowledge of federated structures and knowledge of the work done by IPPF Member Associations in delivering and enabling services, youth engagement and advocacy. She is from East Africa, currently located in Burundi. She is under 25 years old at this time. 

Ann Hendrix-Jenkins

An external candidate, Ann Hendrix-Jenkins is Senior Advisor at the Movement for Community-led Development and was previously Global Director for Capacity Development at Pact. Ann has worked as a trainer, programme designer, facilitator and author across a range of areas including maternal, newborn, and child health, HIV, TB, and pandemic influenza, nutrition, social inclusion and empowerment for women. Amongst the skills required for the MC, she brings knowledge of federated structures, partnership development and organisational development, evaluation and performance. She is from North America, currently located in Israel. 

Vinod Kapoor

An MA volunteer, Vinod Kapoor is a Partner at Kapoor Brothers Roller Flour Mills and has previously served as President of the Haryana Roller Flour Mills Association, Roller Flour Millers Federation of India and Chair of the Wheat Products Promotion Society. He is currently President of the Panchkula Branch at the Family Planning Association of India and was previously Member of the Audit, Executive and Constitution Committees as well as the Accreditation Panel at the Family Planning Association of India. Amongst the skills required for the MC, he brings experience in setting and applying membership standards and the organisational rules and regulations as well as knowledge of the work done by IPPF Member Associations in delivering and enabling services, youth engagement and advocacy. He is from South Asia, currently located in India. 

May Myint

An MA volunteer, May Myint holds a BA from the University of Yangon and is currently a Youth Representative of Myanmar at IPPF ESEAOR region. Her previous roles include Youth Volunteer at the Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association, Volunteer at Teens and Dreams, Executive Committee Member of Relations and Foreign Affairs Committee at the University Muslim Students Network-Myanmar and Member of the Yangon Youth Network. Amongst the skills required for the MC, she brings knowledge of federated structures, partnership development and knowledge of the work done by IPPF Member Associations in delivering and enabling services, youth engagement and advocacy. She is from South East Asia, currently located in Myanmar. She is under 25 years old at this time and identifies as a member of an under-served community.
