The Association pour la Promotion de la Famille Haitienne (PROFAMIL)
Founded in 1957, the Jamaica Family Planning Association (FAMPLAN) pioneered family planning services in Jamaica and played a major role in establishing government policy and programmes. FAMPLAN supports the national programme by providing family planning information and education and offering services to underserved peripheral communities. As an adjunct to government provision, FAMPLAN provides sterilization facilities.
The Association Algerienne pour la Planification Familiale (AAPF) was founded in 1987 and became an IPPF Member Association 2 years later. The organization works for the well-being and development of individuals and families through the promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and family planning.
The organization partners with a large number of ministries, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), UN agencies, donors, academic/educational institutions, parliamentarians, human rights advocates, and media.

A new level of partnership was launched by UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund and the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) today at Women Deliver. It will bring a significant boost in investment to family planning services in 13 countries focusing on vulnerable groups, particularly in areas affected by natural disasters and conflict,
Lucella Campbell, Senior Program Advisor with IPPF Western Hemisphere Region, speaks about what is being done in Haiti to improve access to sexual and reproductive health, and repair facilities and infrastructure that were destroyed in the earthquake.
For the work that they've done, PROFAMIL, the IPPF Member Association in Haiti, was awarded the Beacon of Hope award at '50 & Fabulous: Celebrating 50 Years of Women's Advances Since The Pill', a gala, celebrity-studded event held in New York City on 18 October 2010.
