Maher is a 20-year-old man living in Morocco. Homosexuality is viewed negatively and same-sex acts are punishable by up to three years in prison. Traditional gender roles are upheld and civil rights laws do not protect anyone from discrimination relating to sexual orientation or gender identity. Maher accessed services provided by the Association Marocaine de Planification Familiale (AMPF).

Association Marocaine de Planification Familiale: Effective Participation of Youth project: providing opportunities for young people to gain information and training about sexual and reproductive health, broader health issues such as smoking and alcohol, and employment rights; including through writing and performing plays.
Association Marocaine de Planification Familiale (AMPF): working with young people to design five clinics and decide the amenities and services they would offer; training clinic staff in youth-friendly services and training young people to become peer educators in sexual and reproductive health; and addressing HIV stigma and increasing condom use. .
