Deadline

IPPF is seeking to recruit a French-speaking, Africa-based consultant to support IPPF WISH Quality of Care (QoC) activities in three Lot 1 countries – Mauritania, Chad, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Through the guidance of the WISH QoC Technical Lead, the consultant will provide intensive in-country support with the rollout and implementation of the WISH QoC and AERL system and tools, quality assurance of QoC activities, and conduct external quality assurance, monitoring and follow up with the teams in-country. An Adverse Event Reporting and Learning (AERL) system is a policy and a set of tools to be used by all WISH-supported sites in case of a clinical incident to ensure that all these events are identified, managed and investigated. The consultant will also support the three MAs in advancing possible adoption of QoC systems into government structures for sustained implementation. This will be achieved by, among other tasks, documenting possible pathways to embedding WISH QoC systems into relevant government guidelines.

Interested individuals should send a soft copy of their application by email to [email protected] by 5.00 pm (East Africa Time) on 28th September, 2022.
