Work/life balance
IPPF’s working week is 35 hours and a flexi-time scheme is in operation.
Annual leave
In your first year you will receive 25 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day for each year of service up to a maximum of 30 days.

IPPF wishes to be as supportive as possible to staff who may need to take time off work for emergencies and the unexpected. The flexi-time scheme, family and compassionate leave, parental leave and time off for dependents are geared towards providing work/life support.
IPPF’s maternity policy provides enhanced benefits which exceed the statutory minimum and include adoption, shared parental and assisted conception leave. IPPF also provides financial assistance towards childcare costs.

All staff are eligible to apply for flexible working after 26 weeks of service.
Salary and performance-related pay
Salaries are based on a salary scale.
Salary reviews take place each July and are based on performance appraisal. Salaries may also increase in line with the cost of living review which takes place in July each year.
Learning and development
IPPF is committed to supporting your learning and development, both to meet your needs and to achieve organizational objectives. Every member of staff has a personal learning plan and learning opportunities include study support, training courses, conferences, mentoring and lunchtime learning sessions. IPPF also has a Secondment Policy and a Developmental Opportunities Policy to cover suitable, vacant posts, e.g. maternity cover, restricted projects, etc. Agreed opportunities are between six months and one year in duration with the facility to return to your substantive post.
Health benefits

Pension
All eligible new staff are automatically enrolled in the stakeholder pension plan. Staff contributions are voluntary - IPPF will contribute to your pension even if you choose not to.
