Young people are at the centre of IPPF’s programmes. In 2020 we delivered a total of 98.2 million services to young people, reaching an estimated 29.6 million clients under the age of 25 with sexual and reproductive healthcare. The proportion of healthcare provided to young people under the age of 25 rose to 45%, demonstrating IPPF's ongoing commitment to the largest-ever generation of young people.
Member Associations design youth-friendly health facilities to increase access for young people in terms of opening hours and safe spaces that ensure privacy and confidentiality. Values clarification workshops and training courses equip IPPF staff with the skills needed to provide quality information and services to young people in a non-judgemental environment.
