The Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Programme in crisis and post-crisis situations (SPRINT) initiative is implemented by IPPF with support by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The overall goal is to improve health outcomes of crisis-affected populations by reducing preventable SRH morbidity and mortality through the implementation of the Minimum Initial Services Package (MISP) for SRH in crisis.
Given the increased need for humanitarian assistance including SRH response, resources are invested in capacity development of key stakeholders for MISP disaster risk reduction and emergency preparedness. There is a gap in evidence on the effectiveness of capacity development approaches for MISP implementation and their respective return on investments.
The broad scope of work for this contract includes designing and undertaking a study in at least two priority Pacific countries in order to understand the impact of IPPF SPRINT-supported capacity building on the effectiveness of an SRH response.
IPPF is seeking proposals from a consultant team/academic institution who has in-country experience in the Pacific region to conduct the study. To apply, please submit a full proposal comprising:
- A technical proposal that directly addresses the TOR (maximum 10 pages).
- A financial proposal in US dollars
Please see attached TOR for further details.
