OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POST
- To provide support to IPPF’s international work to reduce abortion stigma, especially as it affects young people.
Main duties

Work with the Programme Advisor on programmes related to the reduction of abortion stigma.

Conduct high quality, desk-based research on abortion stigma and assist with research on an online education module on abortion
- Help to support proposal writing
- Support the development and maintenance of an online youth advisory group.
- Undertake other tasks, as required, which are consistent with the responsibilities of the post.
- Work within IPPF’s employment policies and procedures.

- Ability to write for a range of audiences including: Professionals, young people and other organisations (E)
- Ability to communicate, and work closely with, internal and external stakeholders, contributing to effective team and partnership working (E)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (E)
- Excellent IT literacy and social media skills (E)
- Self-motivated, flexible with an ability to plan, manage and prioritise a busy workload (E)
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or French (D)
- Commitment to reducing abortion stigma and experience of volunteering in this field (E)
