Capacity Development/Partnerships Advisor – Humanitarian (Pacific)

The purpose of this position is to support development of and monitor effective implementation of a humanitarian capacity building strategy for IPPF, with a focus on programming in the Pacific. The successful candidate will provide remote and on-site support to country focal points and build their capacity on coordination and implementation of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights in Emergencies (SRHRiE).  They will report to the Humanitarian Deputy Director (Pacific), and be a member of the IPPF Humanitarian team.

You will have a graduate qualification in public health/education/training degree or equivalent with considerable professional field experience in capacity building in the Pacific, including in humanitarian settings.  You have a sound understanding of SRHRiE and substantial experience in working collaboratively and effectively with partners in cross-cultural settings.  You are supportive of SRHR and a women’s right to choose.
