Guided by our strategy taking us to 2028, we are reimagining our Federation to be more locally owned, globally connected, and bold in advancing SRHR, gender justice, and human rights.

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of People, Organisation and Culture to lead a transformation in how IPPF works, collaborates, and leads. A key member of the global Directors Leadership Team, they will embed a feminist, decolonial, and distributive leadership culture, ensuring our people thrive in a dynamic and evolving organisation. With a Secretariat of around 300 staff across six regions, they will work across a federated governance structure, engaging with Regional and Divisional Directors to create a cohesive and effective people strategy that builds capacity and advances leadership development, safeguarding, and organisational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will be a bold and strategic leader with expertise in organisational transformation, leadership development, and equity, diversity, and inclusion. They will have strong experience in complex, multi-country HR and organisational development, navigating federated and decentralised structures while fostering alignment and local leadership. Exceptional diplomacy, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills will be critical, as will experience managing employee relations, risk, and safeguarding in global settings. Above all, they will be a champion of justice, inclusion, and transformation, inspiring systemic change that strengthens IPPF’s people, purpose, and impact.
