The purpose of this role is to contribute in upholding Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of all people, particularly the affected people in humanitarian setting under the umbrella of the IPPF’s humanitarian programme. To provide practical and technical advice to the Humanitarian Programme and Member Associations on gender and inclusion issues.
- Significant experience in gender and inclusion issues and their application in international humanitarian or development settings
- Significant SRH and GBV programming experience, including proximity to field teams
- Demonstrable knowledge of gender and inclusion issues and their relevance in humanitarian emergency settings
- Advanced understanding of gender transformative programming and inclusion
- Demonstrated practical experience in gender transformative programming across the life-cycle
- Highly developed understanding of how humanitarian crises affect different segments of a population, including women and men in their diversity, youth, people with disabilities, including sexual orientation and gender identity etc.
- Field experience in varied humanitarian settings, preferably including in conflict
- Significant experience of developing organisational guidance and promoting reflective learning on a technical issue
