Context of the Role

IPPF is undergoing a significant organizational transformation, choosing to evolve towards a more member-led, transparent, and learning-focused approach in both governance and operations. This strategic shift aims to enhance the Federation's ability to respond effectively to the diverse needs of women, girls, and all individuals it serves, ensuring agility and relevance in the long term.

We invite you to join us in the role of Governance & Accreditation Advisor. In this position, you will play a crucial role in operationalizing IPPF’s Institutional Development strategy within the South Asia Region (SAR). Your responsibilities will include driving collaboration, fostering institutional learning, and facilitating knowledge transfer among SAR Member Associations (MAs) through South-to-South engagement, occupying approximately 50% of your time.

Additionally, you will oversee the efficient functioning of IPPF’s governing bodies, such as the General Assembly, Nominations and Governance Committee, Board of Trustees, Membership Committee, Finance, Audit and Risk Committee, Policy, Strategy and Investment Committee, and Resource Allocation and Technical Committee. Your support will ensure these bodies effectively fulfill their respective Terms of Reference (TORs), comprising the remaining 50% of your role.
