IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all.  We are a world-wide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.

As Senior Safety & Security Advisor you will support the development of policies, systems and infrastructure to promote the safety and security of IPPF and Member Associations staff and volunteers around the world, including in high-risk and humanitarian settings. Based in the London Office, you will lead a cross-departmental working group to develop, implement, support and monitor safety and security approaches across the federation advising on required resources, guidelines and policies.

You will have a proven record of accomplishment in Safety and Security management and approaches including in humanitarian settings. A strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with fluent English are essential, as this role will require collaboration across various departments and Member Associations. Additional languages are desirable. You must have significant cultural awareness, with the ability to work well and produce results across transnational environments with people from diverse background. A strong project management skills are a must. The role will require extensive travel, occasionally at short notice to fragile and insecure environments, up to 40% of the time.
