The IPPF Humanitarian programme aims to ensure access to life-saving Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services during emergencies.

We are seeking a qualified, experienced, motivated and passionate candidate to join our Team.  Competitive salary and benefits offered.

The purpose of this position is to contribute to upholding Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of all people, particularly those those affected by humanitarian crisis, under the umbrella of the IPPF Humanitarian Strategy and the “Niu Vaka” Pacific Strategy. The successful candidate will provide clinical and technical assistance to Pacific Member Associations for quality Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) service provision and build institutional capacities to provide these services during stable times and emergencies.  They will report to the Humanitarian Deputy Director and be a member of the IPPF Humanitarian team.

You will have a medical/nursing/midwifery education, preferably with graduate qualification in Reproductive Health / Public Health / Social Medicine or equivalent with experience of working in SRH in Emergencies including implementation of the Minimum Initial Services Package (MISP).  You have sound experience in humanitarian settings – including preparedness, disaster response and recovery. Experience in managing multi-site service delivery and working with multiple partners, preferably in the Pacific region, is key. You are supportive of SRHR and a women’s right to choose.
