The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), the leading civil society organisation working globally for sexual and reproductive health and rights is seeking members for the Standing Committees, each of whom will bring proven experience and expertise, and a strong track record of integrity and accountability.
Board of Trustees
The skills-based Board of Trustees govern IPPF as per the strategic direction set by the General Assembly.
We seek candidates who have strong expertise in the following:
- Program Delivery
- Social Enterprise
As an unremunerated and voluntary role it will require time, commitment and effort throughout the year and members are expected to dedicate a minimum of 15-20 days a year.

Resource Allocation Technical Committee (RATC)
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Resource Allocation Committee is an expert committee which makes recommendations to the Board about matters relating to the allocation of unrestricted resources in the Federation. The Committee operates on the strategic level, providing oversight and giving recommendations for decisions within the defined scope provided in the current resource allocation model.
We seek candidates who have strong expertise in the following:
- Resource Allocation
- SRHR
- Funding Oversight

Finance, Audit and Risk Committee (C-FAR)
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the expert committee monitors IPPF’s financial performance ensuring the financial integrity of the organization, oversees risk management ensuring effective internal control systems are in place and recommends the appointment of the external and internal auditors, reviewing their work and ensuring timely and appropriate responses to audit findings and recommendations.
We seek candidates who have strong expertise in the following:
- Law
- Finance
- Audit
- Investment
- Risk Management

As unremunerated and voluntary roles, Standing Comittees will require time, commitment and effort throughout the year and members are expected to dedicate a minimum of 10-12 days a year.
