Action Et Développement (AcDev) is a Non Governmental Organisation for Development Support which has been in existence for 31 years. Today, it is recognised as one of the most important Senegalese NGOs with proven expertise and considerable experience in the provision of community health and the creation of demand at the community level. AcDEV is mainly involved in reproductive health in general, the sexual and reproductive health of young people and adolescents, and the fight against gender-based violence in particular. AcDEV operates in nine regions of Senegal with a national headquarters in Dakar, two permanent regional headquarters in Fatick and Louga and focal points in the remaining regions. AcDEV has more than 104 staff spread across its intervention zones. Since its creation, the NGO has built five health centres, two reproductive health centres for young people and adolescents, a vocational training centre for young girls, 55 rural huts and maternity units, and a mobile RH/FP team. The areas of intervention are: strengthening the skills of organisations and actors, advocacy for RH/FP and the SRHR of young people, IEC/BCC, the sustainability of its interventions through the implementation of income-generating activities and the strengthening of women's economic power. The Union of Women Sex Workers of Paraguay (Unión de Trabajadoras Sexuales del Paraguay -UNES) is a grassroots organization founded in 2006 in Asunción by and for adult women who engage in sex work autonomously. As a member of Redtrasex, UNES advocates for the recognition of sex workers' rights, the elimination of stigma, and their social inclusion. Its main goal is to collaborate with the Paraguayan state to strengthen and expand guarantees for comprehensive healthcare access with a human rights approach. Through various projects, UNES raises awareness among healthcare professionals, distributes prevention packages (including condoms, lubricants, counseling, and rapid tests for HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B), and conducts community oversight visits to healthcare services. Additionally, it provides support to sex workers in accessing treatment and medical consultations. The organization promotes the political training of its leaders, builds alliances with feminist and human rights networks, and engages in public policy advocacy. UNES also works on developing legal frameworks that protect sex workers' rights, including legislative proposals such as the Sex Work Bill Proposal. Moreover, it carries out awareness-raising initiatives targeting key actors in the judicial, municipal, and governmental sectors.
