IPPF at AIDS 2026
IPPF will join thousands of delegates to attend the world’s largest international conference on HIV and AIDS this 26–31 July.
Following on from the UN High-Level Meeting on HIV and AIDS earlier this year, where governments adopted the 2026 Political Declaration on HIV/AIDS, this conference comes at a crucial time in the reshaping of our global response to this public health crisis.
Along with IPPF’s Director-General Maria Antonieta Alcalde Castro, our Americas and Caribbean Regional Office head up the delegation alongside 122 Federation participants from across 46 countries. With the presence of 42 of our Member Associations, IPPF will be leading from the front, bringing insights from the lived experiences of people most affected by HIV, and lessons from organisations that already deliver community-based and integrated healthcare models.
We know how to end AIDS. But the world hasn’t, because one thing is still missing: political responsibility.
