IPPF is a leading global service provider and advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a worldwide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.

 

The Partnerships for Health and Rights (PHRP) is a regional program, funded through the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). It supports the development priorities for the Region, including improving health outcomes and empowering women and girls. PHRP aims to advance equity for all through improving lifesaving Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in eight Pacific Island Countries - Fiji, Cook Islands, Tonga, Samoa, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands.

The purpose of the Senior Programme Manager is to support the effective implementation of the PHRP through comprehensive project management. Based in Suva, Fiji, this role involves significant travel. It will report to the Humanitarian Deputy Director (Pacific) and be a member of the IPPF Pacific team.

You have a proven track record of managing complex, multi-country donor programmes. You have exceptional relationship building skills and an ability to work collaboratively and effectively in cross-cultural settings with numerous stakeholders. You have advanced project management, analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to think creatively. You have a graduate qualification in international development/public health or equivalent with strong experience in the Pacific, ideally in health-related programmes. You are supportive of SRHR and a woman’s right to choose.
