USD40,000+allowances per annum

 

The IPPF Humanitarian programme aims to ensure access to life-saving Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services during emergencies.

 

We are seeking a qualified, experienced, motivated and passionate candidate to join our Pacific Humanitarian Team, based in Suva, Fiji.

 

The purpose of this position is to contribute in upholding the SRHR of all people, particularly the affected people in humanitarian settings. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the current DFAT and MFAT-funded projects implemented under the umbrella of the IPPF’s Pacific Humanitarian Programme. The primary responsibility is to support the Pacific Humanitarian team in managing all the reporting and contractual obligations of the projects. They will report to the Humanitarian Deputy Director (Pacific), and be a member of the global IPPF Humanitarian team.

 

You will have graduate qualifications in international development, public health or a related field with considerable experience working in project management in development, humanitarian or health programmes in the Pacific.  You have substantial experience managing large, multi-year and multi-country projects with numerous stakeholders.  You are supportive of SRHR and a women’s right to choose.
