Jona Turalde is currently an external member of IPPF’s Nominations and Governance Committee. She currently works part-time as the Community, Operations, and Resource Mobilization Lead of Transform Education, a young feminist coalition hosted by the UN Girls Education Initiative. A young feminist activist from the Philippines, she has worked in various governing boards and advisory roles of international development organizations and feminist movements including SheDecides, CHOICE for Youth and Sexuality, and FRIDA, the Young Feminist Fund. She brings experience on comprehensive sexuality education, girl-led participatory research and organizing, and sexual and reproductive health and rights with a particular focus on meaningful youth participation and adolescent health.
