External member. Dual nationality Australia and UK and currently living in the UK. Special involvement with WHO and IPPF. Katy has received education MA in Development Studies & Gender (Melbourne, 2016-17) and currently in PhD in Epidemiology and Population Health (London 2023-2027). She has broad and diverse professional experience: programme and Donors Support Officer, WHO, Kenya; head of Community Health Programmes, Magadascar; Communication Officer, IPPF, Fiji; etc. She has been involved with IPPF, especially in the Pacific, in projects and mapping related to sexual education. She showed herself to be passionate about expanding access to healthcare, particularly in low resource settings and for marginalised groups and decade’s experience in strategic communications and external relations. Proactive, she has a background in project design and management, organisational strengthening, and research.
