Hellen Mata González, a native and resident of Mexico, has a medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Since the beginning of her career, she has been dedicated to the care of vulnerable populations with special emphasis on sexual and reproductive health. She has had experience working with populations in conditions of extreme poverty and marginalization, and other types of vulnerabilities, including adolescents, people of diverse gender and sexual diversity, sex workers, and people in conditions of mobility.
