The Association pour la Promotion de la Famille Haitienne (PROFAMIL)
Established in 2004 by Her Majesty the Queen of Bhutan, Respect, Educate, Nurture, Empower Women (RENEW) became an Associate Member Association of IPPF in November 2009. It aims to be the leading organization in shaping the future role of women in Bhutanese Society, helping to reduce vulnerabilities while nurturing and empowering them. Their work is focused on reaching poor, disadvantaged and adolescent girls and women.

A new level of partnership was launched by UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund and the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) today at Women Deliver. It will bring a significant boost in investment to family planning services in 13 countries focusing on vulnerable groups, particularly in areas affected by natural disasters and conflict,
Lucella Campbell, Senior Program Advisor with IPPF Western Hemisphere Region, speaks about what is being done in Haiti to improve access to sexual and reproductive health, and repair facilities and infrastructure that were destroyed in the earthquake.
For the work that they've done, PROFAMIL, the IPPF Member Association in Haiti, was awarded the Beacon of Hope award at '50 & Fabulous: Celebrating 50 Years of Women's Advances Since The Pill', a gala, celebrity-studded event held in New York City on 18 October 2010.
