Deadline

The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. In 2017, we delivered 208.6 million SRHR services, 42% of which were provided to young people under 25. We also reached over 30 million young people with comprehensive sexuality education. But beyond young people as our clients and beneficiaries, IPPF is committed to investing in youth leadership and engaging young people at all levels of our decision making. In 2017, we published a document outlining our “youth-centred approach”, which outlines how we will engage young people throughout all areas of our work.

We are recruiting a consultant to support the implementation and scale up of our youth-centred approach by conducting a mapping of best practice, creating assessment tools, visiting two of our offices, and writing a report with key findings and recommendations that we can present to our board and use to improve in the future. We are looking for someone with strong experience in youth engagement, research skills, and great communication skills to support us with this work. The work can be done remotely and will include travel. We especially welcome applications from young people or youth-led organizations.

Please see the attached terms of reference for more details about the work and how to apply. If you would like to discuss this opportunity prior to the deadline, please contact Hayley Gleeson, Technical Adviser for Youth Services: [email protected]

Deadline: 7th April at 23:59 UK time
