The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is committed to ensuring that addressing HIV is clearly part of a comprehensive and integrated response to sexual and reproductive health and rights.
The guidance in this chapter is designed to strengthen the delivery of a comprehensive package of healthcare for HIV prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care. As the guidance focuses on healthcare delivery, it is not intended to cover every intervention that could be useful in a comprehensive response to HIV. Elements of community empowerment, addressing stigma and discrimination, and others are not included in the chapter.
