The Federación de Planificación Familiar de España (FPFE)'s work primarily focuses on information and education activities, advocacy for the sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) of women and young people in Spain, and the provision of contraception, including emergency contraception. The organization offers abortion counselling and HIV/AIDS prevention services.
FPFE has established Youth Contraception and Sexuality Centres Madrid, Barcelona and Santiago which offer personal counselling and telephone helplines.
Marginalized communities which FPFE specifically targets include women with HIV and AIDS (through the provision of information regarding support networks) and their carers. FPFE trains young volunteers so they are better able support HIV and AIDS clients at youth centres.
