The Role:

IPPF is seeking a motivated individual to support the expansion of our existing community fundraising efforts and build a comprehensive model (launching in Spring 2025) that includes individual and group third-party fundraisers, Peer-to-Peer efforts with colleges and universities, cause marketing partnerships, and collaborations with IPPF’s Member Associations (MAs) and Partners for joint fundraising and communications initiatives. Under the banner of Donor Relations, the Senior Associate will form a key part of the Individual Philanthropy team. They will work to support efforts to expand and diversify IPPF’s external audiences and collaborate on multi-channel marketing and digital campaigns, as well as donor communications.

About the Role:
IPPF is seeking a seasoned and empathetic Global Safety and Security Manager to lead the development and implementation of robust safety and security frameworks for our Secretariat staff and volunteers worldwide. This pivotal role ensures the safety of personnel working in diverse and often high-risk environments, supporting our mission to deliver critical sexual and reproductive healthcare worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain global safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Oversee security planning for seven regional offices.
  • Lead travel safety protocols, especially for high-risk contexts.
  • Provide crisis management support and strategic security advice.
  • Build capacity through training, mentoring, and system development.
  • Ensure inclusive safety practices that centre gender, race, and identity.

About You:

  • Experience in global safety and security roles, preferably in INGOs.
  • Proven ability to assess and respond to diverse risks, from conflict to climate change.
  • Strong leadership, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Committed to feminist, anti-racist, and inclusive values.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
